The problem of determining gas flow in Laval nozzles with heat addition was solved by an asymptotic method. The author used the ratio 1/ (Boltzmann number) as a small parameter. It is shown a weak dependence of the gas pressure on the heat addition provided the temperature and density are prescribed at the nozzle entrance.
