Cohomology and associated deformations for not necessarily co-associative bialgebras (Q1803240)

The author, together with \textit{M. Flato} and \textit{G. Pinczon} [ibid. 25, No. 1, 75-84 (1992; Zbl 0761.17006)] introduced a cohomology theory for bialgebras (not necessarily co-associative), and demonstrated the rigidity among bialgebras which model quantum \(sl(2)\). The author develops this cohomology further, and relates it to deformation theory. He constructs a long exact sequence connecting his cohomology and classical Hochschild cohomology spaces. The quasi-co-associative bialgebras form a stable subcategory.
