Meromorphic \(c=24\) conformal field theories (Q1803548)

The goal of this paper is to complete the list of meromorphic \(c=24\) conformal field theories. This goal is achieved under three additional assumptions. First of all the methods used in this paper require that \({\mathcal N}\neq 0\), where \({\mathcal N}\) denotes the number of spin-1 operators in the chiral algebra. Secondly, the author assumes that the chiral algebra is generated by a finite number of currents. Finally, he does not really construct conformal field theories, but modular invariant combinations of Kac-Moody characters. The result suggests the existence of 71 meromorphic \(c=24\) theories.
