The authors apply the method of localization to Hilbert modules over a function algebra with jointly continuous multiplication, the function algebra being the algebra of holomorphic functions on a bounded connected domain in \(\mathbb{C}^ n\) which are continuous in the closure of the given domain. They obtain an extension of the Cowen-Douglas theory to the context of Hilbert modules.
