The paper investigates the stability of motion in the averaged planar general three-body problem, in a case of first-order resonance. The equations of motion of the bodies near the resonance and the analytical condition of libration of the resonance phase are obtained. With the help of separatrices, a qualitative picture of the dynamics of the solutions is constructed on the phase plane.
