The aim is to present a stability analysis of walls made of continuous thread reinforced soil (CTRS). This analysis is based on the upper bound theorem of the yield design theory. After introducing a model of the structure, the principle of the kinematic approach is recalled. We give the expression of the maximum resisting work for the macroscopic strength criterion for CTRS and for a criterion defined through a friction angle and an anisotropic cohesion. Two types of failure mechanisms are considered, which lead to upper bounds of the yield factor. Finally, this analysis is implemented on the example of an experimental wall loaded to failure.
