Making use of the technique of partial Fourier transform developed by \textit{F. Sato} [Tôhoku Math. J., II. Ser. 34, 437-483 (1982; Zbl 0497.14007)], the author calculates the residues of the adelic zeta- function associated to the vector space of binary cubic forms. The author's calculations agree with the calculations in: \textit{D. J. Wright} [Math. Ann. 270, 503-534 (1985; Zbl 0545.10014)], where this zeta- function has been defined for the first time.
