Some identities for the operator of Bleimann, Butzer and Hahn involving divided differences (Q1805816)

The authors give a set of identities involving divided differences and linear operators. These identities are used to derive some old and new properties of the operators of Bleimann-Butzer-Hahn from the corresponding properties of Bernstein operators. A Stancu-type form for the remainder of the Bleimann-Butzer-Hahn approximation process is obtained. The authors study also simultaneous approximation, preservation of convexity of higher-order, saturation and inverse theorems.
