Korovkin approximation for weighted set-valued functions (Q1806139)

The author studies the existence of Korovkin systems in the general setting of weighted spaces of continuous functions defined on a locally compact Hausdorff space \(X\) and with values in the set of non-empty compact convex subsets of a locally convex space \(E.\) One gives a Korovkin type approximation theorem for monotone linear operators on such spaces which generalizes some results from earlier work. Some new interesting consequences are obtained.
