The authors define multipoint Padé-type approximation (MPTA) in a similar way to Brezinski's original definition of 1-point PTA, it is with a help of a linear functional acting on the space of rational functions. Some MPTA's are defined with no infinity point. The compact error formulas are given and exemples of 1-, 2- and 3-point PTA are compared for different values of the variable inside and outside the interval containing the building points.
