The author considers a general quasi-differential expression \(M_p\) and its formal adjoint \(M^+_p\) as well as corresponding minimal operators \(T_0(M_p)\) and \(T_0(M^+_p)\) generated by them on any finite system of intervals \(I_p = (a_p, b_p)\), \(p = 1,\dots,N\). The spectral properties of operators which are regularly solvable with respect to \(T_0(M_p)\) and \(T_0(M^+_p)\) are studied. In particular, the essential spectra of such operators are described.
