The author studies the influence of noise upon bifurcations in a simple model of biological oscillators with a periodically modulated threshold. The problem is reduced to the investigation of the first passage time for a stochastic process of Ornstein-Uhlenbeck type (defined via an appropriate stochastic differential equation). Stochastic phase-locking is analysed numerically by evaluating the evolution of the probability density function of a threshold phase density.
