Level one representations of quantum affine algebras \(U_q(C_n^{(1)})\) (Q1807635)

The authors give explicit constructions of \(U_q(C_n^{(1)})\) at level 1. Their constructions can be viewed as a quantization of the construction given by \textit{P. Goddard, W. Nahm, D. Olive} and \textit{A. Schwimmer} [Commun. Math. Phys. 107, 179-212 (1986; Zbl 0602.17011)] and the construction given by \textit{D. Bernard} and \textit{J. Thierry-Mieg} [Commun. Math. Phys. 111, 181-246 (1987; Zbl 0632.17010)]. The idea is to present the vertex operator as a sum of two fields, where each one resembles the original field operator.
