Applying chaos control in periodic windows (Q1809588)

The authors describe a system within a periodic window of a chaotic regime. Here they extend their previous result on a one-dimensional logistic map to a two-dimensional system using a variation of the Hénon map as an illustrative example: The authors show that, starting from a stable periodic motion, one can flexibly manipulate the system between many co-existing solutions without major changes to the overall configuration of the system.
