It is usually assumed that nonlinear connection in a tangent bundle is 1-homogeneous with respect to the tangent coordinates. If this condition is relaxed then it is possible to have spaces where the nonlinear connection of a spray is not the same as the nonlinear connection originally used to define that spray. The authors begin the exploration of spaces where this generalization may have nontrivial results.
