The general evolution equation for a quantum open system possesses the structure of an integro-differential equation on the Banach space of trace-class operators. For the case of \(n\times n\) density matrices, the authors derive certain boundedness conditions for the corresponding integral kernels and inhomogeneity terms which assure the appropriate boundness of the solutions. The main result is illustrated by analytical and numerical examples for the case of a 2-level quantum system.
