On the geometry of hyperbolic surfaces with a conical singularity (Q1811011)

The authors consider compact hyperbolic surfaces with a finite number of conical singularities and study the geometry of these surfaces. Also the Teichmüller space of a hyperbolic pair of pants having one singularity is studied. The authors determine the geometry of a hyperbolic torus of genus two having a single singularity in terms of some real parameters called distance parameters. 15 figures make the paper easily readable.
