Generalized confluent Cauchy and Cauchy-Vandermonde matrices are introduced. These matrices are derived by making use of displacement structure theory fast inversion formulas. Tangential interpolation interpretations for associated linear system with such matrices are given. Fast algorithm for solving these kinds of linear systems is also considered and their overall computational complexity is discussed.
