Continuing the study of time-dependent planar lattices [J. Differ. Equ. 159, 55-101 (1991; Zbl 0939.35015); ibid. 159, 1-54 (1999; Zbl 0939.35016)], the author investigates existence and uniqueness of monotone traveling waves using the vanishing viscosity (diffusion) approach. While stability of these solutions follow from previous results, the existence and uniqueness (in a suitable sense) for any wave vector is established in this article.
