Let \(\pi_\ast(X)\) be the homotopy \(\Pi\)-algebra [see e.g., \textit{C. R. Stover}, Topology 29, 9--26 (1990; Zbl 0696.55017)] of a pointed space \(X\). First, the author looks at some examples illustrating the structure of homotopy groups via \(\Pi\)-algebras and studies abstract \(\Pi\)-algebras as well. Then, three different \(\Pi\)-algebra structures on the homotopy groups of the loop space \(\Omega X\) are described.
