In this inverse problem, the solidification surface of one phase Stefan problem is given and the boundary function in a Robin condition at the right spatial boundary is to be determined. This inverse Stefan problem is approximated by a family of optimal control problems. This result is an approximate controllability result for the free boundary of the Stefan problem.
