The authors discuss the notion of quasi-value which they define on the space of cooperative games as a solution fulfilling the axioms of the (Shapley) value except for symmetry. The following problems are solved: to find conditions under which an operator over the space of games is a quasi-value, and to find conditions under which a quasi-value over some subclass of games can be extended to the whole class of games.
