The paper solves two problems put in the paper of the author with \textit{J. Kříž}, \textit{A. Pultr} and \textit{J. Rosický} [Categorical algebra and its applications, Proc. 1st Conf., Louvain-la-Neuve/Belg. 1987, Lect. Notes Math. 1348, 154-172 (1988; Zbl 0661.22003)]. The results are: The locale product of a locally \(n_ \omega\)-space and a locally \(\sigma\)-compact space is spatial, and, a Hausdorff \(n_ \omega\)-space is \(k_ \omega\).
