Let \(J\) be a (linear) Jordan algebra, \(G\) be a finite group of automorphisms of \(J\), \(J^ G\) be the subalgebra of invariants of \(J\) under action of \(G\). If \(J\) is \(| G|\)-torsion free, then \(J^ G\) will be a \(PI\)-algebra (resp. nilalgebra of bounded degree) if and only if \(J\) has this property.
