The author obtains (in some sense) optimal conditions for a function to be harmonic on a Hilbert space. For the estimation of the Laplacian introduced by P. Levi he uses estimates growing like sums of orthogonal random variables. The paper is a continuation of Ukr. Mat. Zh. 42, No. 11, 1576-1579 (1990), English translation in Ukr. Math. J. 42, 1419-1423 (1990; Zbl 0734.31011).
