We discuss the connection between meet- and join-homomorphisms of a lattice \(L\) to a lattice \(\overline L\), obtain a sufficient and necessary condition that a lattice meet-(join-)homomorphism is a join-(meet-)homomorphism (thus a lattice homomorphism), and establish the fundamental theorem of lattice semi-homomorphism that extends the fundamental theorem of lattice homomorphism.
