It is shown that for an element \(m\) of a semigroup \(S\) the Schützenberger group of the \(\mathcal H\)-class of \(m\) embeds in the automorphism group of the \(R\) graph of \(m\) (a representation of the \(\mathcal R\)-class of \(m\)) and that the embedding is an isomorphism if \(m\) is regular but not necessarily otherwise.
