The author thoroughly looks into four (out of 500) theorems which C.-S. Chou proved in 1987 by computational means. He points out several links to existing classical results. With the help of these results G. M. Pinkernell succeeds in working out a whole host of interesting conclusions and generalizations. In an appendix the author introduces a latin square of order 4. It leads to an attempt to find an example of the projective plane \(PG(2,4)\). Unfortunately this attempt does not work out completely, as the author admits. Nonetheless there are some notes on involutions with links to the method of von Staudt which may encourage some reader to give it another try.
