Analysis of nonlinear multibody systems with elastic couplings (Q1818915)

The authors consider the title problem for flexible bodies composed of laminated, anisotropic composite materials. The dynamic response is simulated ``within the framework of energy-preserving and energy-decaying time-integration schemes that provide unconditional stability for nonlinear systems.'' This, in turn, allows for the calculation of stresses throughout the system. Then the authors focus on systems with elastic couplings.
