The authors describe multiresolution schemes for numerical solution of reactive Euler equations, including a possibly stiff source term. This is an extension of the Harten scheme known in the homogeneous case. By computing the cell average multiresolution representation of the approximate solution, the authors obtain information about the local regularity of the solution. This is used to reduce the number of flux function computations in ``smooth'' regions.
