This paper presents a biobjective optimization model for determining the most economical combination of grape growing and wine production in a vine region of Hungary. Two objective functions are defined: the net profit is maximized, and the maximal manpower demand during the whole season is minimized. The constraints of the model include bounds for land areas and technological constraints for producing grape juice and wine. All constraints and both objective functions are linear. First the nondominated set is determined, and then the most frequently used multiobjective programming methods are applied for obtaining actual solutions. The analysis of the numerical results presents a practical comparison of the methods.
