The Adamyan-Arov-Krein theorem, connecting the s-numbers of the Hankel operators with the best approximations of its symbol by rational functions, is transferred to the case of vector (block-Hankel) operators, acting in the Hardy spaces of functions with values in Hilbert spaces.
