An inconsistency in the spinor curvature equations for spin \(S\geq 3/2\) is resolved, and shown to arise from an incorrect transport law on the Infeld-van der Waerden \(\sigma\)-symbols. The authors then propose a curvature-free connection for the \(\sigma\)-symbols and a form of the spinor Levi-Civita connection which is valid for any spin S and involves no curvature restrictions.
