The author changes the very concept of real space-time coordinates \(x_{\mu}\) into \(z^{\mu}=x^{\mu}+L\pi^{\mu}(x)\) where L is a parameter, \(\pi^{\mu}(x)\) arbitrary non-commutative matrix functions of \(x^{\mu}\). It is clear that now any equation written with \(z^{\mu}\) will have new terms as compared to that written with \(x^{\mu}\). This is meant by ''quantum space-time''.
