This text presents some recent results for learning automata which are mainly concerned with learning behaviour of stochastic automata operating in a multi-teacher environment. Chapter 1 has an introductory character, Chapter 2 deals with learning behaviour of stochastic automata operating in an unknown stationary multi-teacher environment. In Chapter 3 learning behaviour of stochastic automata operating in a nonstationary multi- teacher environment is discussed. Chapters 4 and 5 are concerned with applications. Chapter 4 deals with parameter self-optimization with noise-corrupted, multi-objective functions as an application of the problems discussed in Chapter 3. Chapter 5 has no connection with the main topics examined in this text; it is concerned with cooperative games and the use of the concept of hierarchical structure stochastic automaton in finding an appropriate strategy for these games.
