Telemekh. 1985, No.4, 110- 117 (1985; Zbl 0577.93011).] The approach to locating defective components in linear systems, which has been described in previous installments of this article for the case of unidimensional components, is generalized for multidimensional components. Just as before, the examination is conducted on the assumption that internal and external noise are not present in the system being tested. The groundwork is laid for using this approach when small disturbances are present.
