Originating from Hooke's law and equilibrium equations, and using the theory of complex variable functions, this paper transfers the rectangular region in which the cracks emerge into the upper-half part of the \(\xi\)-plane by means of conformal mapping. We find the solution in closed form and the stress intensity factors are derived.
