Fail-safe redundant structures (Q1821014)

Fail-safe structures are discussed that detect faulty components, devices, and systems and automatically replace them with usable ones. The self-recovery procedure is based on the property of complete self-testing and complete pairwise comparison of the output data of functional units. Reliability characteristics of the proposed redundant structures are analyzed and compared to already existing structures.
