This paper describes a potential BEM method for two dimensional problems and shows it to be as accurate as conventional finite difference procedures for simple problems. Although the derivation and formulation are distinct, the numerical method is actually formally equivalent to Green's function based techniques. This method is then applied to complex geometry.
