This paper is concerned with the analysis of the thermo-viscoelastic waves of order N in a kind of memory material for which the heat flux does not depend upon the present value of temperature gradient. It is shown that the speeds of propagation are finite and independent of the order of the wave. Also, the variation in time and space corresponding to the magnitudes of the mechanical and thermal amplitudes of jumps does not depend upon the order of the wave.
