Minimal immersions of curvature pinched 2-manifolds into spheres (Q1822070)

Let (M,g) be a closed connected 2-dimensional Riemannian manifold with curvature K. Assuming that \(K_ 0\leq K\leq K_ 1\), where \(1/10\leq K_ 0<1/6\) and \(K_ 1=K_ 0+(1/18)(1-6K_ 0)(10K_ 0-1),\) the author proves that there do not exist isometric minimal immersions \(\phi\) : \(M\to S^ N(1)\) for any N.
