The equations for heat transfer to the fully developed parabolic laminar flow in a square duct are solved analytically without recourse to the analogous problem in thin plate theory. The resulting Fourier series is rapidly convergent for all interior points of the solution domain. It is a single sum series as compared with the double sum series of thin plate theory.
