There are some important properties of numerations such as precompleteness, acceptability, which can be passed to their retracts considered. A necessary and sufficient condition for a category of retracts of a numeration and morphisms to be normally effective Cartesian closed is considered. Also some examples of such numeration-theoretic retract calculus are studied.
