D. Preiss proved that each Baire 1 function u: \(R\to R\) can be expressed as \(u=f'\cdot g'+h'.\) The author generalizes this result to apply to Baire 1 functions from \(R^ k\) to R where f, g and h are additive ordinarily differentiable interval functions.
