Let \(K_ 1\) and \(K_ 2\) be \(C^ 2\) convex bodies. By considering the volumes, areas and mean curvatures of these bodies, the author obtains an estimate for the kinematic measure of one body moving in another. From this estimate follows a sufficient condition for \(K_ 1\subset K_ 2\) or \(K_ 2\subset K_ 1\).
