Summary: For the linear differential equation \((1)\quad y^{(n)}=\sum^{n}_{i=1}a_ i(x)y^{(i-1)},\) where \(n\geq 3\), solutions of multipoint boundary value problems on an interval [a,c] are obtained, via the use of Lyapunov-like functions, by matching solutions of certain boundary value problems for (1) on [a,b] with solutions of other boundary value problems for (1) on [b,c].
