This work uses the Wiener-Hopf method to find analytical solutions for a variety of electric potential problems that are solutions of mixed boundary value problems. The specific problems studied in the paper arises from the influence of non-uniform electric fields on an electro-rheological fluid flowing through a plane channel. The electric field in the vicinity of the edges of electrodes is found using asymptotic methods, and some numerical solutions are given.
