The paper discusses heuristically introduced gain factors within the transfomation method of \textit{M. Hanss} [Fuzzy Sets Syst. 130, 277--289 (2002; Zbl 1015.65005)] as a measure of the degree of influence of the uncertain fuzzy-paramterized models on the overall output model uncertainty. An alternative total differential-based measure of this influence is presented. Both measures are compared on a simple example. Moreover, simulation comparison results on several test models are supplied.
