The author considers the well-known modular group and considers its generation by the so called modular transformations. But the misprint in the definition of the principal congruence subgroup (here called congruence subgroup by mistake) by taking the elements congruent to \(I\) instead of \(\pm I\) is misleading. Also there are some serious English mistakes and some technical mistakes making the paper difficult to read.
