Verf. bestimmt die Spannungen einer auf Zug beanspruchten Platte von der Form eines unendlich langen Streifens (Riemen), welche in der Mitte zwischen den beiden parallelen Rändern eine kreisförmige Öffnung enthält. Das Spannungsproblem wird mit Hilfe sukzessiver Approximation gelöst.
